Our Nordlands IPA is influenced by the American version of IPA, the recovered beer recipe started in the 1970’s by the wave of mi- crobreweries which sprung up during this pe- riod in the USA. By using American hops we give the beer a varied taste with citrusy to fruity flavours.
Nordlands IPA is floral and aromatic, with hints of grapefruit. The aftertaste rounds out mild and prepares your mouth for the next delicious sip!
An IPA has an intensity that demands similar intensity in the food you pair it with. Its bit- terness has a cooling affect and therefore goes well with spicy, salty, fried, and grilled dishes.
